Join fellow Emerging Professionals for an exquisite lunch at Green Pastures on Febraury 24 at 11:30. Be prepared for a stellar menu and a riveting presentation by HCC Executive Director, George Cofer.  George will present new information on the proposed 34-mile Walk-For-A-Day trail system, including an update on EPIC involvement in this project, and a timeline for a "ribbon cutting."

Walk-For-A-Day (WFAD) will be a 34-mile multi-use trail extending from Zilker Park through the Barton Creek Greenbelt, the City of Sunset Valley and City of Austin Water-Quality Lands to the Onion Creek Natural Area west of Kyle. An in-depth environmental assessment of the conceptual route is underway and discussions at weekly meetings among key stakeholders have evolved during the past few months from "big picture planning" to specific routing and engineering designing. Bottom Line:WFAD is on track to becoming a reality in the very near future!
